Frequently Asked Questions About Nexlares
A longer-form set of answers to the questions our Canadian clients raise most often. If something is still unclear, the advisor desk is available around the clock.
Getting Started
Most clients complete the application in under five minutes. Once your identity questionnaire is approved — usually within an hour during business hours — you can fund the account and start trading.
A government-issued photo ID and a recent proof of address are sufficient. Canadian residents can upload a driving licence, passport or provincial ID card, plus a utility bill or bank statement issued within the last three months.
Yes. Individual, joint and corporate accounts can be opened under the same profile, each with its own strategy. The dashboard groups them for an aggregated view of your wealth.
Funding & Withdrawals
Interac e-Transfer, domestic wire from any Canadian bank, pre-authorised debit, and supported card networks. Fund settlement is normally instant for Interac, same day for wires.
Standard accounts can withdraw up to CAD 50,000 per business day. Premium accounts have higher limits and can request same-day Interac settlement. There is no monthly withdrawal cap.
Strategies & Performance
Yes. You can switch portfolios from the dashboard at any time. Reallocation is performed at the next scheduled rebalance to keep trading costs predictable.
Each strategy publishes a monthly factsheet inside the dashboard, with returns net of fees and benchmarked against an appropriate Canadian index. Older factsheets are available in the document vault.
Security & Compliance
Client cash sits in segregated accounts at tier-one Canadian custodians. Encryption is end-to-end, withdrawal requests require a hardware-signed confirmation, and our controls are independently audited.
Because client assets are segregated, they would not form part of the company estate in any insolvency scenario. The custodian would either return assets directly or transfer them to another regulated platform of your choice.
